Event Details

horse nayingYour professional success is tightly linked to your use and knowledge of body language ¡V whether you know it or not. Leaders who know how to accurately de-code the silent signals of others, and who are able to use body language that is aligned with the messages they want to convey, gain a competitive advantage in business ¡V no matter what business they're in! Today's leaders must lead through influence rather than control. Influence relies on:

  • The ability to understand another's perspective;
  • Knowing how to read non-verbal messages;
  • The ability to communicate authentically.

In today's virtual world, visual technology is changing the way we do business with employees, partners, and colleagues all over. Business professionals are now being viewed, as well as heard and read. Join Amanda, guest facilitator Pamela Ziemann, and the Epona Meadows herd to sharpen your non-verbal communication skills!

Benefits & results

Learn what it means to lead others by earned authority and not just a formal position or title. In this workshop you will:

  • Gain greater awareness of your communication strengths and gaps.
  • Discover how your nonverbal messages influence the way others perceive you as a leader.
  • Learn how your nonverbal communication affects your relationships with others.
  • Practice aligning your words with body language that supports ¡V rather than sabotages - your message.

Other information

  • No horse experience is necessary and no riding is involved.
  • Safe horse handling practices are thoroughly reviewed with participants.
  • We spend a great deal of time outdoors, so dress for the weather.  We recommend layers, a hat and sunscreen!
  • It is best to wear comfortable clothing that you do not mind getting a little bit dusty, perhaps even dirty.
  • Wear protective footwear.  This means sturdy, closed-toe and closed-heel shoes or boots.  Do not wear running shoes, flip-flops or bare feet!
  • Do not wear anything that dangles and can get caught or tied up.
  • Bring your own water bottle.  Lunch and snacks will be provided.
